tooltop variable info not working

I have the following code....

procedure TForm1.FormCreate(Sender: TObject);
begin
WM_SPECIAL:=RegisterWindowMessage('VIRTUALDESKTOP64BITHELPER');
AllocatehWnd('VIRTUALDESKTOP64BITHELPER');
PostMessage(HWND_BROADCAST,WM_SPECIAL,0,0);
end;

And when I place my mouse over the WM_SPECIAL variable in the
debugger, the tells me something about an INTERNAL ERROR and < "this"
is not an agreggate.> 

I can have breakpoints in OTHER places in my program and the variables
show like you would expect them, but in my FormCreate handler, the
variables seem to barf in the debugger.

Not sure why this is the case ;((((

Does anyone here know?

P.S. I am using this version
lazarus-0.9.30-fpc-2.4.2-win32.exe
WinXP PRO, SP3 & all updates
