Debugger stopped working - Solved

Hi

I updated lazarus today to r 22080, skipping about 100-200 revisions.
I also upgraded to FPC 2.2.4 because Kubuntu told me to.

Now debugging doesn't work. When I run from within the IDE the
compiling window just says 'Error' and all the breakpoints goes green
(ie invalid). On the command line this line seems suspicious:
[Debugger] Log output: &"No symbol table is loaded.  Use the \"file\"
command.\n"
TGDBMIDebugger.ProcessResult Error: ,msg="No symbol table is loaded.
 Use the \"file\" command."

I also get from time to time in the compile window:
Debugger Error
Ooops, the debugger entered the error state


Does anybody else have this problem?

Update:
Apparently I also enabled 'Link Smart (-XX)' along the way which was
the problem.
