No Symbol 'Down' in current context

The debugger tooltip shows "No Symbol 'Down' in current context"
whenever I place the mouse cursor above Sender.Down

Same thing occurs when the cursor is on SenderLabel.Caption

Note: the tooltip shows TSpeedbutton $xxxx when the cursor is on
Sender

Is this a settings issue?

WinXP / Lazarus 0.9.22 & 23

procedure TForm1.ShowSpeedButtonDown(Sender: TSpeedButton;
SenderLabel: TLabel);
begin
  if Sender.Down then SenderLabel.Caption := 'Down'
  else SenderLabel.Caption := 'Up';

No, this is a limitation of the the debugger: it cannot access
properties, only Fields of an object. In a watch you can do
Sender.FDown.
