How to set the "search" path?

I am trying to get lazarus to work with a numerical library called
"tpmath". I need to put the library into the search path in order to
compile the demo program, but could not figure out where to put it.

In your app's folder is a good place, if it's good and works ok then
send it to the mailing list.

Looks like can put it in \projects\compiler options\paths\other unit
files.
