Doubleclick from nowhere lazarus / 10-Designer ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fpcoder · 2016-03-28 19:56 I updated Lazarus trunk and noticed some strange behaviour. I type code in the editor, then click a form. The click becomes a doubleclick for some reason and I am sent back to the editor inside a new eventhandler procedure. Now I can try again to select a form and this second time focus stays on the clicked form. Same thing happens if I switch from one form to another using the mouse. Anyone else seeing this? (Win7 64, Lazarus trunk 32bits) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- balazsszekely · 2016-03-29 04:59 No strange behaviour here: Lazarus trunk/ FPC 3.0.0/ Win7(64 bit). Perhaps a cleanup/rebuild would help? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fpcoder · 2016-03-31 00:31 Making a fresh install of latest trunk didn't help. On the lazarus mailing list I read about a seemingly related bug regarding Forms: "Probably because of recent mouse clicks changes...." So I reverted back to SVN 51638 and everything works as normal, but miss the nice run feature without debugging. Hopefully it will be sorted out soon. Strange that noone else sees this. I installed Laz trunk on a different machine and it was the same there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Cyrax · 2016-03-31 03:24 Are you perhaps using themes in Windows 7? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- balazsszekely · 2016-03-31 05:06 @kapibara Please do the following:    1. Update lazarus trunk to the latest version    2. Go to Lazarus Menu-->Tools-->Configure "Build Lazarus",  select "Debug IDE" then rebuild lazarus    3. Open $(LazarusDir)\IDE\lazarus.lpi    4. Open $(LazarusDir)\lcl\interfaces\win32\win32callback.inc    5. Put a breakpoint to "DoMsgMouseDownUpClick" procedure's first line    6. Open the callstackk window(Ctrl + Alt + S)    7. Run lazarus from inside lazarus with the debugger, click on one of the form(second lazarus), now it should break twice, on the second break check the callstack window, maybe this way you will find more info about the double click event. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fpcoder · 2016-04-01 01:02 @Cyrax: Yes I am using themes in win7. Never been a problem though. @GetMem: I followed the steps. DoMsgMouseDownUpClick's case statement for double/tripple-clicking is NOT entered on singleclicks. So still no clue from where the doubleclick comes.. Will make a fresh install of latest trunk on a laptop tomorrow and see what happens. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- balazsszekely · 2016-04-01 03:44 Quote@GetMem: I followed the steps.
