Proting applications to lower Lazarus versions

I have the following problem: I installed the latest version of
Lazarus. Then tried to compile and run a project. However it went slow
on my PC and I uninstalled the newer version and installed the old one
again. When I try to run the same project again, I get mistakes from
invalid properties of the form, listboxes, labels and other
components. These mistakes appear in a messages with an option to
ignore the property. When I choose the option to ignore these
properties the project compiles, but when I try to run it appear the
same messages for invalid properties and the execution of the program
stops. Is there any way to manually remove these properties from some
project files and how? Thanks in regards.

click in remove all invalids properties and save your project! (PS:
BACKUP YOUR PROJECT BEFORE TO COMPILE IN NEWER VERSION AGAIN)

I was just wondering...what are the newer and older versions you are
using? And when you say it was too slow...do you mean your app ran
slower or that it compiled slower? Maybe the defaults for compiler
settings are different between the two versions, and if you could
solve the speed problem with the newer version, that would probably be
a lot better for you. Of course...if you've posted 146 times, you
probably know what you want. HA!

I started working with Lazarus around 0.9.22 or .23  and was depressed
about the slow compiling. Then I tried 0.9.24 and was happy.
