Installing Lazarus/FreePascal on Debian 10 lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MaxCuriosus · 2021-01-06 16:07 After a fresh install of Debian 10.7 (from iso DVD files) on a computer that cannot be connected to internet, I'm trying to install the latest stable version of Lazarus / FreePascal. I had previously installed Lazarus 2.0.2 and FPC 3.0.4 on a Debian 9 system (multi-boot PC) using the "dpkg -i file.deb" command on the following files in order: Code: [Select]On Debian 9 fpc-src_3.0.4-2_amd64.deb fpc-laz_3.0.4-1_amd64.deb binutils_2.28-5_amd64.deb libgtk2.0-dev_2.24.31-2_amd64.deb lazarus-project_2.0.2-2_amd64.deb gdb_7.12-6_amd64.deb Is it possible to similarily install Lazarus 2.0.10 and FPC 3.2.0 on a Debian 10 system and what would be the exact file names? Code: [Select]On Debian 10 fpc-src_3.2.0-1_amd64.deb fpc-laz_3.2.0-1_amd64.deb binutils_??? libgtk_??? lazarus-project_2.0.10-0_amd64.deb gdb_??? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MarkMLl · 2021-01-06 16:56 For FPC I normally add build_essential, gdb, libncursesw5-dev, libncurses5-dev, libgpm-dev and subversion, then install from FPC's own tarball. Possibly also things like libpq-dev. For Lazarus something like libgtk2.0-dev and libqt5pas-dev, possibly also libqt4pas-dev but the Qt stuff is a bit tenuous due to changing library versions. MarkMLl
