Problem compiling Laz for aarch64 lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- N1ESE · 2020-04-12 20:12 Friends, first, I realize there is a Raspberry Pi tutorial thread but that is based on armhf platforms.  I'm trying to compile on aarch64 (Gentoo Linux) and running into problems with compiling Lazarus. I have the binary fpc 3.2.0rc1 aarch64 package installed and it appears to be working correctly.  I'm now trying to compile Lazarus 2.0.6 but it is failing.  I've tried compiling for the "bigide" and minimal ide. Output where it fails is here: https://textuploader.com/1ldpv Anyone have any ideas or has anyone successfully compiled for aarch64 some other way?  Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- N1ESE · 2020-04-12 20:36 Ok, looks like I need Lazarus 2.1.0 or later for aarch64.  I will checkout the latest trunk tree and try that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2020-04-12 21:18 There seems to be no assembler installed. Usually this is GNU Assembler installed as "as", usually part of binutils or as larger build-essentials or glibc-devel or so. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- N1ESE · 2020-04-12 21:22 Quote from: marcov on April 12, 2020, 11:18:48 pmThere seems to be no assembler installed.
