Some hotkeys execute wrong actions lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- geek893 · 2016-06-21 14:44 OS: Debian Unstable Lazarus: 1.6 (completely fresh installation, NO old config files are used) For example: Ctrl+S deletes a current line instead of saving a current file. Ctrl+A starts "Find" window instead of selecting all text. Ctrl+F selects all text instead of starting "Find" window. Ctrl+C starts "Save project" window instead of copying selected text. What the hell is going on and how can I fix it? P.S. My first thought was that I used wrong keyboard layout (I use English and Russian layouts). But I checked, the hotkeys are executing wrong actions NO matter what the current keyboard layout is. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2016-06-21 17:30 check if you use ibus or some alternative. See http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=30009 (and maybe related issues) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- geek893 · 2016-06-25 11:42 I neither use iBus, nor SCIM, nor fcitx nor UIM. Can you help me? I have completely no idea what to do. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- geek893 · 2016-06-26 15:40 Today I was experimenting with other versions of Debian. I found out that given bug happens on Debian Testing and Debian Unstable while Debian stable doesn't have it. Maybe it's just coincidence, but there is another bug that is related to keyboard and happens on Debian Testing and Debian Unstable, but NOT on Debian Stable: Okular doesn't react to hotkeys.
