Missing files lcl_defines.inc and translations.pas

I am attempting to install Lazarus SVN latest development version.  I
don't seem to be able to get passed the following error:

PPU Loading /home/arlen/appdev/lazarus/trunk/lcl/units/x86_64-
linux/translations.ppu
PPU Source: translations.pas not found
PPU Source: include/lcl_defines.inc not available
Recompiling Translations, checksum changed for jsonparser
updatepofiles.pas(40,22) Fatal: Can't find unit Translations used by
UpdatePoFiles
Fatal: Compilation aborted
Makefile:2343: recipe for target 'updatepofiles' failed
make[2]: *** [updatepofiles] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/arlen/appdev/lazarus/trunk/tools'

I have already found and copied numerous other files reported as
missing, but I cannot find these files in the files included in the
SVN co.
