problem with Can't call the resource compiler "/usr/local/bin/fpcres"

Hi everyone,

Since two days i cannot compile lazarus project.  I allways receive
the fallowing message.


project1.lpr(19,1) Error: Can't call the resource compiler
"/usr/local/bin/fpcres", switching to external mode


what i found on the internet do not solve the problem.

So i reinstall Lazarus, fpc and fpc-src with the .deb files and
nothing works. (fpc_2.6.4-150228_amd64.deb / fpc-
src_2.6.4-150228_amd64.deb  / lazarus_1.4.2-0_amd64.deb)

so i list the file fpcres to help you...

find / -iname fpcres -exec ls -ld {} \;

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 36 août  10 14:34 /usr/local/bin/fpcres ->
/usr/share/fpcsrc/2.6.4/utils/fpcres
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 août  10 15:01
/usr/share/fpcsrc/2.6.4/utils/fpcres
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 862120 avril 20  2014 /usr/bin/fpcres

I run lazarus in:

Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca

Any help to solve that problem will be appreciate.

Hi everyone,

I found the solution to my problem..  I juste reinstall fpc from that
source..
ftp://gd.tuwien.ac.at/languages/pascal/fpc/dist/2.6.4/x86_64-linux/
and everything was working again.

I still don't understand why it stop working... but i'm happy to go
back to my coding..
