Fails to rebuild IDE on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- qdos · 2014-10-02 14:22 I added the daemon package to write my first service, and clicked the save+rebuild button. But I keep getting this error (see attached image). The lazarus/1.0.10 directory exists -- but how do i tell lazarus that? Also, when i start lazarus i get the error: "The package leakview is installed, but no valid package was found..." I have used the standard Ubuntu installer (Software center). First installed Lazarus, then the dependency package with the sources. Everything has worked fine, except for a crash if you click "save all" when the IDE has loaded (very strange bug). Right now I need to get the IDE rebuilt and daemon support Help is welcome ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2014-10-02 14:31 Sounds like the tool's name is missing, rather than the directory being wrong. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- qdos · 2014-10-02 14:52 Quote from: marcov on October 02, 2014, 04:31:02 pmSounds like the tool's name is missing, rather than the directory being wrong. Any hint to what tool that would be? or do you mean the package itself? If so, where would this reside in the filesystem so i can double-check that it does indeed exist? When i go to the folder in question, there is an ide.pas file there ---------------------------------------------------------------------- qdos · 2014-10-02 15:06 I sort of have a gut feeling its a path problem, but then again, im not to familiar with linux yet. But i notice that the error message stems from a comparison of filenames? And the last filename is missing a "/" at the end. Question then is, where do i correct this?
