symlinks e FindAllFiles

A simple question: does FindAllFiles follow symlinks or doesn't it?

My worry is that symlinks can cause cycles and will continue deepening
the search following a symlink to something it has already seen, to
never terminate.

Is there some guarantee that this will never happen?

Thanks.
