fpc 2.6.2-5 installation package on Ubuntu 13.10

Hi,

FPC 2.6.2-5 package that comes with Ubuntu 13.10 is wrong. After
installation the fpc executable is missing. Does anybody know who is
responsible for that packages? Or where the bug should be addressed?

The new release broke also my fpc (or lazarus-fpc link chain). Seems
that
 /usr/bin/fpc -> /etc/alternatives/fpc
 /etc/alternatives/fpc -> /usr/bin/fpc-2.6.2
trying to run
sudo /usr/bin/fpc-2.6.2   gave:
Error: ppcx64 can't be executed, error message: Failed to execute
"ppcx64", error code: 127

ppcx64 (or ppcx64-2.6.2) in /usr/bin seemed to be a "broken link
file". Sorry, I lost the exact details/messages  thereof

and running the install.sh saved my day (what was left of it after the
unfortunate decision to do a release-update)
