Menus not cleared

Hi

On a machine, I have Lazarus (1.0.10 same with 08)  on Linux Ubuntu
12.04 with MATE 1.6 interface (instead of Unity).

When I launch the IDE, click on a main menu item, and then another
one, the previous menu don't disappear !  See the screen capture.

This might be related to MATE...  With Unity it works better in this
area (But I hate Unity ) 

This problem doesn't exist with a Lazarus applications compiled
previously. The menus are cleared as expected.

Has someone the same experience with Mate and Lazarus (on Ubuntu or
Linux Mint), and or any idea to workaround ?

This problem has disappeared and I don't know why... 
Don't know what happened.
