Kubuntu and Lazarus QT widget set? lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- snorkel · 2012-09-21 15:11 Hi, I have Lazarus up and running on Kubuntu and int installed with the GTK2 widget set I would like to use the QT widget set as it looks better on KDE etc.  What exactly do I need to rebuild the IDE with QT instead of GTK2? Do I  need the QT binding or does Lazarus come with that?  Do I need any QT dev libs to be installed or is just the stuff that ships with KDE sufficient? Thanks, Snorkel ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2012-09-21 16:15 QuoteDo I  need the QT binding or does Lazarus come with that? You need libQt4Pas, should be available from package manager or the website. QuoteDo I need any QT dev libs to be installed or is just the stuff that ships with KDE sufficient?you'll need the dev part since you're building something with Qt, not only running. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- snorkel · 2012-09-24 15:23 Thanks, I got it working.  On Ubuntu/Kubuntu, you just have to install the pas4qt package and it installs all the deps. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zeljko · 2012-10-01 07:26 Font problem with Qt is fixed in current trunk, also it's merged to fixes 1.0, so will be available in 1.0.2. Problem was dx param of TQtWidgetSet.ExtTextOut() which hasn't been handled at all. Now it works with non-mono fonts.
