Mint 12 386 Cant install Lazarus

I have no success in install lazarus on Mint 12 383. fpc2.4.2
installed but will not run
Error: ppc386 can't be executed, error message: Failed to execute
"ppc386", error code: 127
please help

ppc386 is symlink from /usr/local/bin to
/usr/local/lib/fpc/2.4.2/ppc386 or similarly. You can check if that
path is correct.
What happens when you type "fpc -iV" in konsole ?

Finally, have you any reason to use fpc 2.4.2 ? It is somewhat older.

well I think I have it removed finally but how to install fp-
compiler-2.6.0_2.6.0-0_i386.deb
the package say's  Error:Dependency is not satisfiable.

I installed Mint 12 64-bit a few weeks ago and fpc 2.6.0 on it but I
don't remember if it was *.deb or *.tar (with install.sh). I needed it
only for compiling SVN version of FPC. IRC there was no problems.

Ok I got it fixed, I tried to use some old script that broke the fpc
some how and I couldn't fix it or remove it. with your help I was able
to figure it out.
