Error! Lazarus 0.9.30 In ubuntu 11.10

hello i am a problem

I download lazarus-0.9.30.2.i386.deb.tar and install
lazarus-0.9.30_0.9.30-0_all.deb,

The first problem is when I close form show:

What is your GTK version? There are several problems with GTK 2.24.7.

In a terminal run Code: [Select]dpkg --list libgtk2.0-0 or go to
Ubuntu Software center, click on Installed, Provided by Ubuntu, click
on show nnn technical items at the bottom, enter libgtk in the search
bar, click on search, look in the system group for libgtk2.0-0, click
on it, click on more info...

I had the same problem for me it worked to start lazarus out of a
terminal:

% export LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0
% lazarus-ide

I had same error on Ubunut 11.10 and Lazarus 0.9.30.2.
Usually lazarus ide freeze after opening property editors.

Starting lazarus from terminal I found these message before 
OS_IS_PAGER message:
Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path:
"pixmap",

After installing  gtk2-engines-pixbuf  package works fine.

sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-pixbuf
