make clean all ?? +components ?? lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- meulinux · 2011-08-17 19:32 Hello all Which option (command line) to compile / install the components with the IDE? in terminal: make clean all -???? thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2011-08-17 22:06 make bigide ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zoran · 2011-08-18 07:20 Quote from: Leledumbo on August 18, 2011, 12:06:35 ammake bigide This will not install the components you had installed before. If I am not mistaken, the only way to rebuild ide with your set of components is rebuilding from the ide itself — first make clean all, then Startlazarus and rebuild from tools menu. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2011-08-18 09:06 QuoteThis will not install the components you had installed before. Are you sure? Because I've got all my previously installed packages (because I call this upon upgrading). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- meulinux · 2011-08-18 09:32 Indeed, the components that were installed are not installed after the  command: make bigide. Maybe this works in Lazarus for Windows, in Linux (Ubuntu 11.04) does not work. Someone knows something about recovering the components after a build using the command line (Terminal)? thank you Leledumbo ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zoran · 2011-08-18 11:39 Quote from: Leledumbo on August 18, 2011, 11:06:19 amQuoteThis will not install the components you had installed before. Are you sure? Because I've got all my previously installed packages (because I call this upon upgrading). I have just tried now to make sure, because I gave up on it long time ago and haven't tried since. Really doesn't work. This "bigide" parameter just adds some packages which you don't get otherwise — you get SQLldb, Chart, RTTI, IPro tabs, but you don't get for example Zeos tab. Then, when you recompile from IDE, you get everything back.
