Installing lazreport ? lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tintinux · 2011-04-12 14:50 Hi I have downloaded and installed lazarus 0.9.30 on Ubuntu 9.10 with these command lines : Code: [Select]sudo rm -R /usr/lib/lazarus/ sudo rm -R /usr/lib/fpc sudo rm -R ~/.lazarus cd /fpc-2.4.2-0.i386.deb sudo dpkg -i *.deb cd /lazarus-0.9.30-i386.deb sudo dpkg -i *.deb sudo chmod -R o=rwx /usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.30 sudo chmod -R g=rwx /usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.30 BTW : I just get an error message with a QT deb in the second dpkg. Maybe not important, since I do not use QT... Then I can run Lazarus, works fine, but package LazReport is not installed. I have changed the config to clean before build. When I try to Install/Uninstall packages, select LazReport 0.9.8 and rebuild, I get : Quote/usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.30/ide/lazarus.pp(1,1) Fatal: Can't find unit lazreport used by Lazarus Today, I was successful like this :  - open /usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.30/components/lazreport/source/lazreport.dpk  - compile  - install, rebuild, which relaunch lazarus  - quit again immediately lazarus and relaunch, before opening anything else ! What is wrong  ? Thanks Tintinux
