Stay on top window lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- circular · 2011-02-21 21:00 I've got two tool windows that do not stay on top on ubuntu although they have StayOnTop attribute. Is StayOnTop implemented on gtk2 ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2011-02-21 21:14 Works here on Kubuntu (Qt) but BorderStyle property must be set to bsToolWindow. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- circular · 2011-02-21 23:54 They already are. Maybe is it the contrary, and that it will work if they have the Dialog attribute? I cannot test this right now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2011-02-22 00:14 For bsDialog works too, for others doesn't (i.e. bsSizeToolWin, bsNone, bsSingle, bsSizable) But in my app. when I set them bsToolWin then I don't have to set them fsStayOnTop (I have them fsNormal). They are on the top automaticly and it works little better (for example Save Dialog is above them but was not with fsStayOnTop) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- circular · 2011-02-23 16:10 It has nothing to do with this, but you may want to try to make BGRABitmap work on Qt. There is an example of how to draw RGB data with Qt in LazRGBGraphics (unit rgbqtroutines). I have no idea yet if BGRABitmap work on Qt. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2011-02-23 18:43 I tried LazPaint_2.0 and there is definitely something wrong with Qt graphic. There is garbage instead of picture (I tried with Laz. splash screen). Also mouse cursors do  not work properly and app. crashes when I resize it by mouse. But it is difficult to solve. Try to install some Qt based distro to VM or try recompile Laz. to Qt (I believe it is possible on Gnome linux). But I recompiled Lazarus to gtk2 and there works fine - no crash and cursors and graphics is OK. BTW: Is possible change PenWidth ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zeljko · 2011-02-23 19:48 Where I can download LazPaint  and see what's up with qt ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- garlar27 · 2011-02-23 20:11 Quote from: zeljko on February 23, 2011, 08:48:17 pmWhere I can download LazPaint  and see what's up with qt ? Here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/lazpaint/files/lazpaint/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zeljko · 2011-02-23 21:19 Ok, qt is fixed , to whom I should send patch (bgraqtbitmap.pas)... ? So, it looks good and works ok. But there's problem with cursors. Under qt they don't work too (but no crashes as with gtk2), only X error messages in console. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2011-02-23 21:28 I use Lazarus snapshots so I will update Laz. and retry LazPaint few days later. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zeljko · 2011-02-23 21:29 Attached is bgraqtbitmap.pas .It should be added to bgrabitmapdir and proper IFDEF's should be added to bgrabitmap.pas . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- circular · 2011-02-23 22:08 Thank you. I've downloaded the code. I've uploaded the new code on subversion. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- circular · 2011-02-23 22:19 Quote from: Blaazen on February 23, 2011, 07:43:43 pmBTW: Is possible change PenWidth ?Yes, in the toolbar, you should see Width followed by 50, which means 5 pixels wide (it's multiplied by ten).
