No valid package file for ChmHelpPkg & ToDoListLaz!! lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mbnoimi · 2010-12-31 15:14 Hi All, After installing Laz from daily snapshot I got these error messages at start-up stage: Code: [Select]The package "ChmHelpPkg" is installed, but no valid package file (.lpk) was found. A broken dummy package was created. The package "ToDoListLaz" is installed, but no valid package file (.lpk) was found. A broken dummy package was created. Are they real errors or I can simply skip them ? PS I ask this issue because I'm suffering a lot with installing GLScene in my machine (I'll post a new subject about this issue after a moment) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2010-12-31 15:46 Simple: look for those packages' lpk file and recompile them, that would update the path known to the IDE. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mbnoimi · 2010-12-31 16:13 Quote from: Leledumbo on December 31, 2010, 04:46:43 pmSimple: look for those packages' lpk file and recompile them, that would update the path known to the IDE. I looked for them in /etc /var /usr but I got nothing! does it really missing files in nightly snapshot or I missed something? PS I found: /usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.29/components/chmhelp/packages/idehelp/chmhelppkg .pas /usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.29/packager/globallinks/chmhelppkg-0.1.lpl ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2010-12-31 19:39 Quotedoes it really missing files in nightly snapshot or I missed something?Maybe, because I've got mine in the same folder as chmhelppkg.pas. Anyway, it's a general rule. For each package (.lpk), there should be .pas with the same name as the registration file (it contains Register procedure to do necessary integration with the IDE).
