Gaby ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2010-08-25 13:06 Bad configuration of FPC and Lazarus and/or mixing of versions. Clean up old versions as good as you can, and make sure the paths in Lazarus and fpc's fpc.cfg match the installed .ppu's. Check also that you don't include any FPC source paths in your compiler search path. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Gaby · 2010-08-25 13:58 I have Ubuntu 10.04 32 bits, my processor is AMD Athlon64.   I get the binari ppcx64 from package fpc-2.4.0-1.x86_64.rpm, and dispose it in a directory.   I get with svn the free pascal , and compile it, ok.   I get with svn lazarus in other directory.   I set the path to $Home/fpc/bin/ I compile Lazarus and have this error.   Before I have Lzarus instaled with Ubuntu software center.    What's I make bad?.    Sorry for my bad English.   Saludos : Gaby ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2010-08-25 14:12 you now have two versons of fpc. When you compile lazarus with the svn fpc, fpc finds the older ppu files. you can use -va to see where fpc searches for files (very long output) find all and any fpc.cfg (/etc/fpc.cfg  /usr/home/name/fpc.cfg (or maybe in a subfolder of home) look for the -Fu in the fpc.cfg make sure they point to where you installed fpc, and not to the old fpc. --- And, if in lazarus you specify /path/fpc then make sure that executes the correct version. "fpc" is not the compiler, the compiler is ppc*** "fpc" just searches the compiler, and executes it. So maybe you have the right ppu / -Fu path, but "fpc" finds the wrong ppc*** ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Gaby · 2010-08-25 16:53 Yes, I had fpc.cfg in /etc.  I erased it.   I get fpc with svn, and compile it.   I create fpc.cnf and modify it for the FU lines point to /home/gaby/fpc/lib/$fpcversion/units/$FPC....   I get lazarus from svn   I compile it and...
