lazarus :can't make/run anything

Hi all,


I am a complete newbie to linux and lazarus
installed lazarus
can't run any of the examples, I always get same error during linking
:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgtk-x11-2.0

gtk+2.0 is installed
I use PCLinux 2010
anyone any idea

You probably need the development package.

it seems I neede libgtk+2.0-devel
after installing that package everything runs nox
