FC12 Compile Error

I did a fresh install of the source:

svn co http://svn.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/trunk lazarus-svn

And then I tried to compile it:

make clean all

 and got the following error:

Fatal: Can't find unit Contnrs used by Masks
Fatal: Compilation aborted
make[1]: *** [alllclunits.ppu] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/terry/source/lazarus-svn/lcl'
make: *** [lcl] Error 2

This of course was at the bottom of many other messages durring the
compile.  I can get you the whole thing if you want.

BTW I have fpc 2.4.0 installed:

Free Pascal Compiler version 2.4.0 [2009/12/31] for i386

Probably a mixing of precompiled units (.PPU) in version 2.4.0 and
some other version, or an incorrect fpc.cfg configuration.
