Reader Error after update from svn lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ocye · 2010-05-12 07:44 I updated yesterday both FPC and Lazarus to latest svn releases (Lazarus again 5min  ago). Now I can compile my project without any problem but it fails to start with some weird exception "Error reading .Position: Access violation." If I debug that it leads to TCustomForm.Create->InitResourceComponent(Self, TForm)->InitLazResourceComponent->Reader.ReadRootComponent(Instance); (LResources:3043). There is no error on initialization all other forms except this one which has as configuration dialogue with a lot of UI elements including some trackbars. Removing *.lrs did not help. If I create a new application and place a trackbar there it works fine. Any idea how to solve? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JuhaManninen · 2010-05-12 18:16 > "Error reading .Position: Access violation." How does the .Position look like in .LFM file? It compiles also well but crashes on initialization. It was recommended to me to change resource setting for the project from lrs to fpc. I tried this but had no success. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ocye · 2010-05-13 06:47 I have no idea why but the error disappeared. First, I removed all trackbars - success, then I replaced - error. Second, I moved all trackbars to a new tabulator at the pagecontrol - no error, and moved back - still okay. Very strange!
