No, the "mode_inline" modifier is not recognized. No clue what is
supposed to do, I never saw it before

I guess mode_inline is a Delphi inline directive equivalent.

Download a glut.dll and put it to the catalog with your .exe file.

Is there a difference between "inline" and "mode_inline"?
The same error - " 'end' expected but 'mode_inline' found ". Those
links don't help.

Yes there is. Inline is a valid modifier, while i never have heard of
mode_inline. I don't know something new to fpc, but I guess not. I've
never seen modifier with an _ so I guess that this piece of code is a
bad translation of some C code.

and it will work.
