Lazarus Help Files lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- DonBEE · 2010-02-07 16:04 When I drop an OK button on to a form.  Select the OK button and hit F1, nothing happens. Where are the help files? How do you install them and get them to work properly? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2010-02-07 19:38 Chm help files can be downloaded from sourceforge, if they are missing. Not sure about the setup, but I just tested: - pressing F1 on the form designer/button doesn't seem to trigger help (yet). - pressing F1 in the sourcecode (with the cursor on TButton) does load help ---------------------------------------------------------------------- theo · 2010-02-07 20:15 Didn't we answer this question before today? http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,8574.msg41435.html #msg41435 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- DonBEE · 2010-02-08 05:26 Quote from: Martin_fr on February 07, 2010, 08:38:44 pmChm help files can be downloaded from sourceforge, if they are missing. As I said: I am not sure about how to set it up. But you will need to tell which version of Lazarus you have, since things probably changed.... Have you tried F1 on the source code? Because this should at least give an error msgs, which tells you the next step. Or that will allow some one else to give you a better answer. So I can't give you more details ---------------------------------------------------------------------- skalogryz · 2010-02-08 14:17 are there only 2 options for using Help: HTML (browser) and CHM help viewer? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2010-02-09 15:24 Quote from: skalogryz on February 08, 2010, 03:17:17 pmare there only 2 options for using Help: HTML (browser) and CHM help viewer?
