There was no problem installing lazarus, but I have a question ?

I managed to install Lazarus succesfully on ubuntu 9.10 , in my
desktop, I used the getlaz script approach for this.

Do I have to use the same process again to install Lazarus on my
laptop, is it possible to simply copy the relevant files to my laptop
from my desktop ??

Don't forget to copy the settings as well (AFAIR it's in ~/.lazarus
and for fpc, it's in /etc/fpc.cfg).
