Problem install ACS Component (Please Help me) lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jeanrl · 2009-12-29 23:00 Hi people! I am having trouble installing the components ACS, when I open the Open Package-> laz_acs.lpk command and compile, I get the following error message: .../Lazarus/acs/Src/classes/acs_cdrom.pas (1,1) Fatal: Can not find unit Libc used by acs_cdrom I'm using: Ubuntu 9.10 Lazarus 0.9.28.2-0 Beta FPC 2.2.4 SVN Revision X86_64-linux-gtk 2 (Beta) Does anyone have a solution. Grateful. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- davesimplewear · 2009-12-30 08:00 Generally this means you need to install the library either via synaptic or by command line. Regards Dave ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2009-12-30 13:05 Where do you get it from? I believe svn version doesn't have libc in uses clause anymore since the unit has been dropped for quite a time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- theo · 2009-12-30 13:11 I don't think ACS works on 64bit. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jeanrl · 2009-12-30 13:58 Leledumbo: I downloaded the SVN version and that has caught Libc. theo: Yesterday in the IRC channel told me that he does not work with 64-bit, I did not know. Does anyone know of any other package of audio, equal to the ACS, which has enough resources? Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- theo · 2009-12-30 14:54 Quote from: jeanrl on December 30, 2009, 02:58:50 pmDoes anyone know of any other package of audio, equal to the ACS, which has enough resources? Any special reasyon why it has to be for 64bit? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jeanrl · 2009-12-30 17:18 No need to be 64-bit platform I use 64 because my machine is 64, only for it. I need audio components to be 32 or 64, but the problem I see with the ACS is not only that he is to 32, but the main thing is it being discontinued. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike J · 2009-12-30 20:25 SDL ? http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/FPC_and_SDL
