download to Mac/install on Ubuntu lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mbohn · 2009-12-06 23:47 I presently have one laptop with XP and Ubuntu 9.10 on it.  That machine is not connected to the net because I don't run XP that way and because I've yet to get Ubuntu to recognize my wireless adapter. I do have a Mac on the net tho, so here's the question: Is there a way to download whatever Lazarus/fpc files I need onto the Mac, burn it to a CD, then install it on the Ubuntu machine? I have Lazarus on the Mac machine but am not presently using it due to debugger problems. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Wodzu · 2009-12-07 21:33 Hi. This is running it from the CodeTyphon menu items Lazarus|Run Lazarus IDE.  It did seem to compile ok earlier when I clicked menu item Lazarus|Lazarus Clear Simple.  And FP does seem to start up fine. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mbohn · 2009-12-13 17:24 I found your earlier post re the new script to install CodeTyphon on Ubuntu 9.10.  I ran that and now when I try to run Lazarus I get an error message: could not launch 'Lazarus' Faile dot execute chile process "startlazarus" (No sudh file or directory) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Wodzu · 2009-12-15 11:53 mbohn, I whish I could help you but I haven't tested it yet.
