smb network drive lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- gambothell · 2009-11-24 20:10 I am running Ubuntu 9.10 with Lazarus 0.9.26.2-2 beta and FPC 2.2.4 I have a local windows share folder open on the desktop (smb://ip/share_folder) and I want to use a TFileListBox to show the files in the smb folder. The normal OpenFile dialog does not include network drives and the TDirectoryEdit does not show network folders. How do I access network window share folders in Lazarus. The first is to use Gnome VFS from Gnome libs, so you get SMB drives listed. The other is to use conventional VFS and mounting SMB drives using smbmount or similar. So essentially you need to decide do you wish to depend on Gnome or Samba... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- gambothell · 2010-02-02 22:15 Thanks All for your help. I used the suggestion from Mike J and it works beautifully.
