I broke Lazarus Ubuntu 9.04 amd 64 lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Robster · 2009-11-07 11:51 I tried to upgrade my Lazarus, by down loading the deb package from sourceforge I broke everything.   Now I get error messages all over the place. Nothing works. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LazaruX · 2009-11-07 11:57 Which version did you download. Which steps did you perform to upgrade? What is not working? Does Lazarus show up and gives errors, or do you only see errors before it even loads? Write some errors you are getting, this may help in finding a solution ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Robster · 2009-11-07 14:03 For everybody using Ubuntu  this is the way to upgrade. http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Getting_Lazarus#Getting_Lazarus_fro m_our_Ubuntu_repository Thank you for your reply. 0.9.28.2 amd64 deb tar was the file I downloaded originally from Sourceforge  I got 15 error messages before I have manually deleted my Lazarus directory and upgraded via the method described above I had error messages regarding source code but went to the synaptic package manager and upgraded the source code. So far everything appears to be working correctly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Fred vS · 2009-11-07 16:14 Hello see that link http://lazarus-fr.espace- malin.fr/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=44:installer- lazarus-et-freepascal-svn-sous-ubuntu&catid=2:installation-de- lazarus&Itemid=4 It is in French but you just have to folow the commands.
