Buttons & StringGrid - bugs or features ? lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2009-11-03 14:14 Hi, I have two questions. 1, TButton or TBitBtn: When Button. Enabled=False then is not possible do Click. O.K. But OnMouseDown and OnMouseUp methods works. Is it normal or bug? 2, TStringGrid: I have StringGrid and I have defined for example 5 columns via Columns property. All of them are ReadOnly=True. When I set global option  goEditing=True for my StringGrid, then is not possible edit any column, because they are ReadOnly, expect the very last one (here it is the fifth). I think it's bug. Lazarus with Qt 4.5 widgetset on Kubuntu 9.04 64bit. Thanks for help B. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zeljko · 2009-11-03 17:15 Qt sends event and propagate it to LCL - so if it's bug then it is inside qt. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2009-11-03 17:38 I just tested the same with GTK2. 1, Buttons don't generate OnMouseDown & OnMouseUp methods. So this problem seems to be only with Qt. 2, There are also the bug with the last StringGrid column, when goEditing is true and ReadOnly is true, it is possible to write to cells. Is it on bugreports? And where would I post them? Thanks B. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jesusr · 2009-11-04 21:34 it's fixed in lazarus rev 22437, thanks for reporting. Next time, please use the bug tracker http://bugs.freepascal.org/main_page.php bugs reported on forums are easy to be missed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2009-11-06 20:34 Thanks for fix, I see in rev. 22450 StringGrids work fine, but I have one more question about Buttons. zejlko wrote: QuoteQt sends event and propagate it to LCL - so if it's bug then it is inside qt. I downloaded Qt Creator and made little test with Qt 4.5.3. In world of CPP are signals press, release instead of our OnMouseDown and OnMouseUp methods, but in simple app. made in Qt Creator disabled button doesn't generate any of these signals. So does exist some solution on this? It's not critical for me, but it would help. Thanks for help. B. (Now on Kubuntu 9.10 64bit Laz. 22463 fpc 2.5.1)
