Lazarus on Ubuntu 9.04/eeePC - unresponsive lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EdwardsBC · 2009-10-09 20:30 I've just "discovered" Lazarus and since I always loved Delphi I thought I'd give it a try.  I have the Ubuntu package (IDE v 0.9.26-4 beta) on both my desktop (where it seems to work fine) and on my eeePC (1000AH). On the eeePC the IDE seems to consume an alarming amount of CPU and it continually "flashes".  My guess is it is trying to resize to the small screen (1024x600) and there is some condition that is not being met.  Anyone else had this problem?  Lazarus is basically unusable on the eeePC, but it really shouldn't be.  Screens will be tight, but it has 2GB of memory, a snappy little dual core Atom, and plenty of hard disk. Anyway, I'm still browsing through this rather large forum seeing if I can find something that could be the cause.  I'm hoping someone with more Lazarus experience can give me some pointers or clues. Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- felipemdc · 2009-10-29 19:23 Have you tryed using Lazarus 0.9.28?
