FPC-abi what is that? lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- naums · 2009-09-21 16:55 I tried to install Lazarus on my Kubuntu (with GNOME) 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope, but it didn't work. The cause: the package fpc-abi-2.2.2 was not found, and can't be isntalled through ubuntu automaticly. Where can I get this package (no, it isn't in the list of Freepascal on SourceForge.) and how can I install Lazarus then? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- naums · 2009-09-21 18:25 trying to install all components on their own. FPC... IDE; GTK2, GNOME; then fpc, then lazarus. hopefully it will work.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2009-09-21 20:46 That package is probably provided by fp-compiler-2.2.2 or fp-units- rtl-2.2.2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- naums · 2009-09-23 11:41 I don't know why, but my Aptutude seemed to be broken.  I installed Ubuntu again, now it works... as minimum the installation works, the IDE does work not really i think. Look: Window Manager.
