Linux newbie install problem lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- greymont · 2009-09-03 20:13 I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 64bit. I went to lazarus.freepascal.org and clicked on downloads. Top 3 files (newest files) listed were lazarus_0.9.26.2-0_amd64.deb lazarus-src_0.9.26.2-0_amd64.deb lazarus-doc_0.9.26.2-0_amd64.deb I downloaded them all. Double clicking on the first opened the Package Installer. But it says "Error: Dependency not satisfiable: lazarus-ide" I was able to install the source and documentation packages OK. What do I do now? I thought the Lazarus IDE was what I was installing, so I'm confused by the error. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- cpalx · 2009-09-04 00:57 install fpc fpc-src lazarus in that order ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2009-09-04 13:43 The newest files is only a incomplete set of files that SF automatically puts on top of the list. The complete set of debs for amd64 is below. The lazarus*.debs.tar contains the 4 lazarus debs, so you can choose which you want to download.
