saving projects lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BobD · 2009-08-30 00:58 what is the correct way to save projects so that when re-opening them later lazarus will be able to compile them without "cannot find" errors (even though lazarus had no trouble finding them when the project was created)? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2009-08-30 18:32 Hi, I had never problem with it. I have each project in its own directory, all files like unit1.pas, project.lpr, project.lpi and unit1.lfm..... I use don't use menu File, I use Project->Save Project, Save Project As..., Close Project or Open Project. When I reopen Lazarus, last project is opened automaticly. All my project directories are stored in my /home/username. Don't you have problem with permissions? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BobD · 2009-08-30 19:41 ^ Thanks for the reply. I seem to have solved it (and some other problems) by running chmod 777 on /usr/lib/lazarus/
