Searching on /usr/lib64 lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lord_ZealoN · 2009-08-13 13:28 Hi all, I don't know if this is a problem of Lazarus, nor Fedora. I have a Fedora Core 11 64 bits. Is I put a TPQConnection, and try to connect, it tells me about can't connect because can't found libpq.so. I have, "libpq.so.5" in /usr/lib64 and, doing a symbolic link to "/usr/lib/libpq.so" works...but... ...Is this behaviour normal? Cheers. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- cpalx · 2009-08-13 13:31 lazarus is searching in  /usr/lib path, and if if not there, shows you the error. It is totally normal ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lord_ZealoN · 2009-08-13 14:00 Quote from: cpalx on August 13, 2009, 03:31:04 pmlazarus is searching in  /usr/lib path, and if if not there, shows you the error. It is totally normal Well, I think should be normal to search on "/usr/lib" (32bits) and/or "/usr/lib64" (64 bits) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- cpalx · 2009-08-13 19:17 well, i think what you say is correct, i did nothing in my ubuntu 9.10 (64bits too) and everything goes fine, even i see that /usr/lib/libpq.so.5 is a link from /usr/lib64/libpq.so.5 well, if you want Lazarus search in that path you can configure your fpc.cfg file.
