problem with Label*.Font.Quality and polish letter lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ensimek · 2009-06-29 20:30 Hi there I wrote the program on WindowsXP and tried to recompile it under ubuntu linux. But i found out two problems: - while opening project I get message 'Label1.Font.Quality Unknown Property Quality' - and the second, in whole Lazarus and also in my project instead on polish letter 'ł' i have '))' and have no clue how to fix those problems. Rest of the code seems to work well ... ;-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- theo · 2009-06-29 21:57 Do you have the same Lazarus versions on Win and Linux? Are you using the GTK2 IDE on Linux? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ensimek · 2009-06-29 22:57 No I'am using GTK 1.2, I tried to change it to GTK2 but I couldn't rebuild the IDE. And about the version... on both os'es I had/have 0.9.26 (the newest).. I figured out Label.Quality problem, but have no idea why letter 'ł' is shown in lazarus as '))' or '()' or kinda similar. I tried to change Environment options to use Polish Font and Language (iso-8859-2 OR utf-8 OR Win-1250) without effect. Linux locales are set to pl_PL.UTF-8. Also If i put a Label on Form and change Font Charset to EstEurope or Unicode i steel have problems with 'ł'; Thanks theo for helping me once again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ensimek · 2009-06-30 07:20 theo, problem with letter 'ł' fixed. I compiled lazarus as a gtk2 from root, now it's ok. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2009-06-30 07:27 I think you have 0.9.26.2 on windows and 0.9.26 (for example 0.9.26-2,i.e the second deb build for the 0.9.26 release) on linux.
