Compiling Lazarus

I am trying to compile lazarus on latest version of (K)Ubuntu and I am
getting this error
Quote cannot find -lX11
Could anyone please tell me what I need to do to fix this error?

After a..

sudo apt-get install X-dev libX11-dev libXi-dev libXmu-dev

..it just compiled.

I tried

Quotesudo apt-get install X-dev libX11-dev libXi-dev libXmu-dev
but I get the following error

Maybe

xorg-dev

Look at this
(It has many dependences xserver-xorg-dev, libx11-dev, etc)

I tried xorg-dev that fixed the -lX11 error but now I am getting
follwoing error

You must install the packages libgdk-pixbuf2
and maybe
libgdk-pixbuf-dev too.

I have installed those 2 packages but now I am getting

I am a newbie in Linux.
I am very frustrated triying to compile Lazarus in Puppy Linux 4.2.1

Why Lazarus do not have a REAL INSTALLER, with ALL STUFF INCLUDED?????

Is so simple to install it in Windows!!

why dont you use another ditro?

Puppy is a very simple distro, focus on be faster with new package. If
you use Mandriva, for example, you will see it will be easier as you
think.
