Trying to update, RPM method (Mandriva), but its not working

Hi
when I use the FPC 2.2.4 rpm, it finishes fast...bad sign
then FPC-SRC goes through the motions OK
then Lazarus itself complains 2.2.4 is not installed

I have tried un installing FPC via the software manager and even
deleting the FPC folders
but still the same problem as in the latest (snapshot) (or even the
released version) of FPC not installing

need some help!

turns out it was a corrupted download of fpc2.2.4
I got a good download, and all is OK now
