Using Css or Image files with Apache

Hi

How do I use css or image file in a apache module(not cgi). I have
tried giving the url of the default.css

<link href="default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

but I can't see the page using this style sheet. Where should I be
putting the css file and what else should be done for this to work?

It does not matter if it is CGI or apache module.

The CSS file (default.css in your case) needs to be defined with a
path relative to the web server home page.

For example in the web server document root:
<link href="/default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

or under a "stylesheets" subdirectory within the web server document
root:

<link href="/stylesheets/default.css" rel="stylesheet"
type="text/css">

So the visitor's web browser knows where to find it on the web server.
Same idea for image files:
<img src="/images/someimage.jpg">
