Many forms on taskbar lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2009-01-22 07:24 I just started using Lazarus on linux, and I notice that EVERY form (including the one I'm designing) has an entry in the taskbar. This makes the taskbar full. Is there anyway to solve this? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- theo · 2009-01-22 10:40 Quote from: Leledumbo on January 22, 2009, 08:24:38 amI just started using Lazarus on linux, and I notice that EVERY form (including the one I'm designing) has an entry in the taskbar. Some Environments like KDE3 have an option to group similar tasks in the taskbar. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LazaruX · 2009-01-22 11:05 Hi, I also noticed that in the beginning, I think its a Linux specified way of displaying thing, nothing to do with Lazarus I think ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sdv · 2009-01-22 18:55 Quote from: Leledumbo on January 22, 2009, 08:24:38 amI just started using Lazarus on linux, and I notice that EVERY form (including the one I'm designing) has an entry in the taskbar. I used it's 'Skip Taskbar' feature with following windowmatching criteria: class=Lazarus & (title=Object Inspector | title=Locals | title=Messages | title=Code Explorer | title=Source Editor) So, all windows from Lazarus that have mentioned titles are not shown in taskbar. Hope this helps. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2009-01-23 08:17 QuoteSome Environments like KDE3 have an option to group similar tasks in the taskbar.I use Kubuntu 8.10 which uses KDE 4. From quick googling, I found that it's not possible in KDE 4. QuoteI was expiriencing the same issue and solved it by using Compiz- Fusion plugin 'Window Rules'.Isn't it another window manager? Well, if there's no other way I'll try it. Thanks anyway.
