lazarus 0.9.26 on sabayon 4r1 x64 lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- calebs · 2009-01-10 17:28 Hello all. I've installed lazarus 0.9.26 on sabayon linux 4 r1 (it's gentoo based) using repositories and installed like a charm, runned but i can't find any database components. I've installed same version on windows and it has a tab with all components to connect to mysq, firebird and more without adding aditional components but none in linux. I have data controls and data access tab, but in the last only one component TDataSource but no options to connect. Do i have to add the components manually? I have added Lazreports and compiled and integrated fine. Any ideas? Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- theo · 2009-01-10 17:52 http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,4589.0.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- calebs · 2009-01-12 02:32 tried to recompile it but it doesn't change... it's all the same. Downloaded latest lazarus source, untared and compiled but none database tools available... also, can't install zeosdbo it gives me this error /home/caleb/downloads/ZEOSDBO-6.6.4- stable/src/plain/ZPlainLoader.pas(1,1) Fatal: Can't find unit libc used by ZPlainLoader any ideas? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2009-01-12 07:37 unit libc is not available on x86_64, only on i386-linux. Ask the ZEOS team to fix this issue, probably they already did and you just need to use a newer version.
