Package woes

I'm trying to rebuild Lazarus to resolve the no fonts in IDE issue.

I've almost got it building but now Ive got to

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lm


I found packages that solved

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lX11

etc but no idea what package to download.

Any help gratefully received - 3 days Linux experience.

Sorry ... I didn't explain that clearly:

I fixed "/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lX11" by installing libX11-dev
I fixed "/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXi" by installing libXi-dev
I fixed "/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXext" by installing libXext-dev

... but I can't find a package libm-dev ...

Weird, that suppose to come with any normal linux distribution. Try
installing glibc-dev.

glibc-dev worked .... and I can rebuild Lazarus.

Still can't read the menus and dialogs though.
