TTrayIcon transparentcy lazarus / 1-Linux ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tech-pro · 2008-07-17 11:56 What's the trick to getting tray icons to display with transparent backgrounds so the task bar color shows through? I'm running KDE and Laz/LCL are compiled for GTK2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- felipemdc · 2008-07-17 14:03 Where do you load your icon image from? Make sure it has an Alpha channel and it is activated. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tech-pro · 2008-07-17 14:33 It is a Windows .ico file. I am loading it from the project folder, as in the TTrayIcon example, since I had problems when loading it into the component at design time. It does have a transparency mask, and shows up with the transpatrent background in the preview pane of the file manager. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- felipemdc · 2008-07-18 14:57 Please submit a bug report with a test project and specify your linux distribution, lazarus version, fpc version, etc. There were some recent bitmap changes which caused some trouble in transparency handling. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tech-pro · 2008-07-18 22:12 Yes, I just reported an issue with bitmap glyphs in TSpeedButtons in the latest releases not showing transparency. But I was using the 0.9.24 release so I don't think it is the result of any recent changes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tech-pro · 2008-07-18 22:13 Quote from: "tech-pro"Yes, I just reported an issue with bitmap glyphs in TSpeedButtons in the latest releases not showing transparency.
