Error: Target "linux", package "rtc" not

Hi

Trying to compile lazarus 0.9.24-0.tar.gz on an amd turion 64 bit
machine ..
I have fpc 2.2.0 installed successfully .. (I think)

I have dearchived the lazarus source in another directory and on
running fpcmake get the error above ... what am I doing wrong?

(ps prior to this I successfully installed lazarus using fedora 9 386
on the same machine .. so thought I should reinstall the 64 bit
version of fedora 9 to make best use of the hardware .. was this a
mistake?)

use make, not fpcmake
