First time Linux user.
I have opensuse 10 and Lazarus 0.9.24 it installed fine but when i try
to compile a form1 hello world i get.

I am a long time windows Delphi user and would love to start useing
and developing apps for linux with  lazarus.
BE NICE I know nothing about linux or lazarus.

Thanks for the replly. If someone could help me find the correct lib
then i can try to get it installed.

yum install libX11-devel

More generic, if you get the message that library XXX wasn't found,
run Code: [Select]rpm -q -f /usr/lib/libXXX.so.x.y.z
This shows the package the library is in. To get the devel package,
add -devel to the name

and install libx11-devel error I still emerging, but there to do?
