Exceptoin while creating process Executable not found ''''

My app compiles OK (Ubuntu 8.04) but won't run producing this error.

I've checked the environment options and there's blank data for Make
Path which is probably why the run fails (!!) but I have no idea what
to enter for the Make Path. In the Windows version it was
automatically set to make.exe.

Help please

Also, though I guess it's to do with gtk/gtk2, my form layouts on the
project imported from the Windows version have to be redesigned to fit
the different font scaling. Can this be avoided?

Edited this message May 21 to say that the error in the first part was
an incorrect directory name.

I still haven't  been able to recompile using gtk2

Do you mean recompile the IDE for GTK2? If that is so, you need to
have super-user rights to do that. You need to start lazarus as su
from a terminal with :

sudo startlazarus

and then rebuild for GTK2 (make sure you have all dependencies
installed).

I have this same problem, when I try to compile my project I get
"Exceptoin while creating process Executable not found '''' ", how did
you solve this problem?
